Explore the 32 rooms of the Musée d'Histoire de Nantes to find out more about the eventful history of the city from its origins to the present day.

There are four themes to discover:

• The Atlantic slave trade and slavery
• The two world wars
• Industrialisation
• The castle of the Dukes of Brittany

As well as a room devoted to the Edict of Nantes. Children are also catered for, with an area designed just for them: the Dragons' Chamber.

Temporary exhibitions also enhance the visit.
